Monaleen Juvenile GAA Club

We played Mungret in the U12C Hurling League on Friday April 18. We were slow to start and were under pressure for much of the first
half. Thanks to some sterling defence by among others Reiss Connolly and Daniel Power we restricted Mungret to a single goal in the
half. A feature of the defence was a brilliant display in goal by Shane Griffin.

In the second half the tables were turned and Monaleen were on top but despite fine displays from Oisin Kelly, Cian Hession and
Darragh Murphy we were unable to get back on terms and the game finished with the score Mungret 1-1, Monaleen 0-1

We were very pleased with our second half performance and are looking forward to our next game against Na Piarsaigh.
