The Under 10's had a trip across town to play a game with Ballinacurra Gaels.

After the first competition of the evening was successfully completed - finding the pitch - the girls lined out confidently for a pre match photo :

The first half was keenly contested and after great defensive displays from the girls, and a few heroics up front, the team led by 3-1 at half time.

Refreshed by the half-time drinks, they worked even harder in the second half, pulling clear to win 9-2 in the end. Well done girls!

A notable achievement was Robyn McDonald helping herself to 5 and a half goals! Susan Fullen was the other sharpshooter, getting 2 and a half. Half a goal? Well, Susan took the shot and it hit Robyn's foot. So, whose goal is that? This reporter was too busy chatting on the sideline to notice who scored the other goal for Monaleen???
