Report from trip to Castleisland

On the 20th of October, 2007, we went on an outing to Kerry. A large troop of players and parents took to the road (two coaches)and a great day was had by all.
We played six games in all u11 u10 2*u9 and 2*u8.
All games were very competitive and very enjoyable.
The u8 and u9 players were victorious and the u10 and u11 teams were just beaten.

Report from visit of Clonmel Commercials

On Saturday 13^th of October 2007, we invited Clonmel Commercials to Monaleen for some matches. We split our panel of players in two and had two very good matches.

Clonmel were a little stronger than us in our first game but all players played really well. The following players all played on the day : C Nicholas, D Moloney, N o Brien, C Bermingham, C Carew, J Hallas, C Crosse, C Mc Carthy, A O Donoghue, S Donegan, S Burns, E O Shea, S Bowler, O Crosse, P Griffin, F Bourke, Christine , Chalini, C Quilter, J Mc Carthy, C Doherty, T Flaherty, I Campbell, S Mulkerin, H Gleeson, P Power.

Well done to all, there was some lovely football played. You were all excellent.

Our apologies to anybody that we have not mentioned as we lost the team lists of the day(let the coaches know and we can change the detail). We are delighted to see the new members on the field – we hope you enjoyed it.
